The 2026 FIFA World Cup will be broadcast across the United States on Fox and its streaming service, Fox Sports App. Spanish-language coverage will air on Telemundo and Peacock. Many matches will also be available live on Peacock Premium, offering flexible viewing options on TV, computer or mobile devices.

Host Countries and Cities

The tournament will take place in the United States, Canada and Mexico. Host cities include Los Angeles, New York/New Jersey, Atlanta, Dallas, Seattle and others in the U.S.; Toronto, Vancouver and Edmonton in Canada; and Mexico City, Guadalajara and Monterrey in Mexico.

Tournament Dates and Matches

The World Cup kicks off on June 11, 2026, and concludes with the final on July 19. A total of 104 matches will unfold across 16 stadiums, marking the largest men’s World Cup to date.

Expanded Format

For the first time, 48 teams will compete, organized into 16 groups of three. The top two teams from each group will advance to a 32-team knockout stage, leading to the Round of 16, quarterfinals, semifinals and final.

Venues and Opening Match

The opening match is set for June 11 at Mexico City’s Estadio Azteca. Other landmark venues include AT&T Stadium in Arlington and MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford.
